What we collect

Account data (email address, display name, and the state and school you optionally add), your Admission Journey (exam, subjects, dream university and course, target score, exam date), and learning activity (answers, time spent, mastery, XP, streaks, missions, simulations, badges, group and friend relationships).

Why we use it

To run the service: grade answers, track mastery, schedule revision, predict your score, award XP and badges, rank leaderboards, and let Titan AI personalise coaching. We also use aggregate, non-identifying data to improve question quality.

AI processing

When you chat with Titan AI, request an explanation or generate questions, the relevant message and a summary of your study stats are sent to our AI provider to produce the response. We do not send your email address or password to the AI provider, and we do not sell your data.

What other students can see

Leaderboards and study groups show your display name, avatar, level, XP and streak, and your state or school when you have set one. They never show your email address. If you do not want to appear on the school or state board, leave those fields empty.

Storage and security

Data is stored in our managed cloud database with row-level security, so a signed-in student can only read and write their own records. Administrative access is limited to accounts with an explicit admin role.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and all associated learning records by emailing privacy@studytitan.app from your account address. Deletion removes your profile, stats, attempts and social connections.

Children

StudyTitan is intended for secondary school students preparing for national examinations. If you are under 16, use it with the awareness of a parent, guardian or teacher.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
